Seeval is one of the common snack varieties consumed by the people of Tamil Nadu for many long years. The crispy texture and mild spice make it different from other snack varieties. In the South Tamil Nadu region, there is a custom of soaking snacks in Palm Jaggery to get a unique taste and flavour. But with years passing the custom is replaced with white sugars.Here we bring authentic Karuppatti seeval made with original Karuppatti Paagu (Palm Juice). It needs a lot of effort and experience to make this recipe as the sizes have to be cut down to specific thickness and soaked at the right time so that the Palm Jaggery would stick onto the outer layer of the Seeval.
